We started the new semester the only we knew how...over some food! Last Monday, we had our existing leaders and our new ones over for a vision casting time. And of course food - taught them all to make their own spring rolls. It's been really exciting seeing the Lord's hand at work. Having our leadership team grow from 3 to 8 is definitely indication that students are beginning to own the vision.

"Would you know who is the greatest saint in the world? It is not he who prays most or fasts most; it is not he who gives most alms or is most eminent for temperance, chastity, or justice; but it is he who is always thankful to God, who wills everything that God wills, who receives everything as an instance of God's goodness and has a heart always ready to praise God for it."

Come Thou Fount
O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wandering heart to Thee.
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it,
Prone to leave the God I love;
Here’s my heart, O take and seal it,
Seal it for Thy courts above.
How many times these words have struck a chord within my soul? And yet, often it's easy to relate to the man who penned these words (Robert Robinson), who one day as he was riding in a stagecoach a lady asked him what he thought of the hymn she was humming. He responded, "Madam, I am the poor unhappy man who wrote that hymn many years ago, and I would give a thousand worlds, if I had them, to enjoy the feelings I had then."
May I never leave my First Love.
